Hi, I’m Kaiti!
I’m a landscape and wildlife photographer traveling the world and sometimes climbing rocks along the way. Five years ago, I never would have guessed that my life would look like this. I had just finished earning my Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Michigan, and I immediately went out and found a seasonal ranger job at a state park. The job was clearly outside of my field of study, but my artwork had taken me on a path of deep appreciation for nature, and I felt the need to be outdoors experiencing and learning about my environment first hand.
Since then, I have found my way back to my hometown, and am lucky enough to have a job in a creative field. I spend the rest of my time practicing photography, making art, camping, rock climbing, traveling, driving absurd distances for weekend road trips, and volunteering in environmental stewardship. Working full-time means I am often on a time constraint when visiting other places, so I’ve become an expert at jamming every itinerary I make with as many awesome activities as possible. I know many others feel the same time pressure that I do while on vacation, so feel free to write me if you need advice on how to maximize your time to get the most out of your holiday. You can also write to request custom prints of my photography, or order from my shop page or my etsy store!
